1. CONTRACT WITH VESPA RENTAL\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBy renting a vehicle, you accept these general rental conditions as an integral part of the contract binding you, as the lessee of the vehicle, with Vespa Location. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

2. RENTAL DURATION\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The renter will have the vehicle for the rental period specified in the rental agreement. Failure to return the vehicle at the time indicated on the rental agreement constitutes a violation of the conditions of the rental agreement. In case of return one hour later than specified in the rental contract, Vespa Location reserves the right to charge an additional day.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

3. RENTAL RATES\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

3.1. The price per day is calculated for 24 hours.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

3.2. Throughout the duration of the rental, fuel and oil supplies remain the responsibility of the tenant<\/strong>. If the fuel level when the vehicle is returned is lower than when the vehicle was returned, the renter will be charged \u20ac30 for administrative costs and refuel.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

3.3. Vespa Location pays for the replacement of tires resulting from normal use of the vehicle but not from clumsy or abusive driving. Tire punctures and their repair are the responsibility of the tenant.<\/p>


3.4. The Vespa Location prices on the website www.locationscootermenton.fr<\/a> or on printed materials are those in force at the time of publication. Vespa Location undertakes to communicate any price increase at least 30 days before the rental.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

4. SECURITY DEPOSIT\n\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

4.1. The renter must have a credit card (MasterCard or Visa) allowing payment of the rental cost and the security deposit<\/strong> when the vehicle is handed over.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

4.2. The renter is liable throughout the duration of the rental, without any limitation, for the costs of all damages except those caused by an identified third party.<\/p>

4.3 The security\u00a0deposit requested for a Vespa scooter 50 cc is 800 (eight hundred) Euros or\u00a01000 (one thousand) Euros for a 125 cc. This amount is pre-authorized on the\u00a0client debit or credit card and debited only if any damage occurs. The debit will be justified with a corresponding invoice.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

4.4 Only for 125cc motorcylces with comprehensive insurance, it is possible to waive the deposit, subject to payment of a fixed deductible of EUR 250 including VAT, regardless of the duration of the rental.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

5. VEHICLE RESERVATION\n\n\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t5.1. All reservations are payable in full when booking. If payment is not received 30 days before the start of the rental, Vespa Location reserves the right to treat the reservation as canceled and will charge a fee \u2013 see Article 15.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t5.2. The model of the vehicle will be defined in the rental contract. The images and descriptions of the vehicles on the website www.locationscootermenton.fr and on the printed media are representative of the vehicles available, but are not necessarily the vehicles specified on the rental contract. Vespa Location reserves the right to correct errors online or in print at any time. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t5.3. Vespa Location makes every effort to ensure that renters drive the desired vehicle. Unforeseen and uncontrollable situations may however arise and require the substitution of a motorcycle such as mechanical breakdowns, damage due to collisions or theft. If such a situation should arise before the rental, the renter will receive a refund or a comparable rental vehicle. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t5.4. If the rental demand exceeds the supply of vehicles, Vespa Location will offer the lessee to transfer the rental contract to another provider. If the tenant agrees, the first rental agreement will end and the tenant will conclude a new rental agreement with the service provider mentioned. In case of disagreement, Vespa Location will terminate the rental agreement according to the rules for cancellation of the rental agreement. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

6.VEHICLE DELIVERY\n\n\n\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t6.1. Before signing the rental contract, the renter and Vespa Location will check the condition of the vehicle and the tires together. By accepting the condition of the vehicle and the tires, the hirer cannot claim any compensation due to a malfunction of the vehicle or the tires. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t6.2. The lessee agrees to return the vehicle in the same apparent, technical and operating condition.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t

7. TENANT'S OBLIGATIONS\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

7.1. To avoid theft, the renter must always take care of the vehicle and its keys. The renter must only leave the vehicle in secure car parks and use all the anti-theft devices provided with the vehicle. All scooters 50 or 125cc may not be driven more than 50Km around Menton without prior written authorization from VESPA LOCATION.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t7.2. The renter must always protect the vehicle against bad weather which can damage the vehicle.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t7.3. The renter must use the gasoline and oil indicated for the vehicle.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t7.4. The lessee must not sell, rent or dispose of the vehicle or its spare parts.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t7.5. The tenant must inform Vespa Location without delay and at the latest within 24 hours, if he becomes aware of a defect in the vehicle. The vehicle must be returned to Vespa Location in Menton, France for any regularly scheduled adjustments, repairs or servicing. The renter must not let anyone intervene on the vehicle or modify it without authorization from Vespa Location. Subject to authorization of the interventions by Vespa Location, the latter will reimburse the tenant for the costs incurred on production of an invoice in good and due form. Failing this, the renter will be responsible for all the expenses of Vespa Location necessary for the repair of the vehicle or for its compliance with the applicable regulations. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t7.6. For rental periods of more than one week or more than 2000 km, the lessee must carry out routine maintenance of the vehicle every 500 km (checking the oil level, coolant, tire pressure, chain tension & lubrication).\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t7.7. The tenant must comply with legislation relating to passports, visas, driving licenses and remains responsible for all consequences in the event of non-compliance. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t7.8. The tenant must comply with all national traffic rules and remains solely responsible for fines, fines, reports and customs proceedings against him. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tVespa Location maintains vehicles at least according to the standards recommended by the manufacturer. Vespa Location assures the renter that the vehicle is in good working order and suitable for rental at the start of the rental period.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

9. PAYMENT\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t9.1. Vespa Location will charge the rental rate before the start of the rental. At the time of delivery of the vehicle Vespa Location will request a debit authorization from the provider of the renter’s bank card for the security deposit. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t9.2. If the vehicle is returned undamaged and no other property has been damaged during the rental, the security deposit will not be charged to the renter’s credit card. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

9.3. If the vehicle is returned damaged or missing parts, the security deposit will be retained in part or entirely by Vespa Location. In addition, an administrative fee of \u20ac 250 applies to any damage or missing parts of the vehicle.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

9.4. The renter agrees to pay Vespa Location:<\/p>

  • The rental price and all other costs calculated by Vespa Location according to this rental agreement.<\/li>
  • The amount of any loss or damage resulting from the renter’s liability.<\/li>
  • The costs of fines and citations for all his violations of the Highway Code or otherwise. The renter must pay to the competent authority all required fines and costs. In addition, an administrative fee of \u20ac20 applies.<\/li>
  • The cleaning costs (30\u20ac) of the vehicle if the returned vehicle needs more cleaning than usual.<\/li><\/ul>

    All procedural costs necessary to recover these costs.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      10. INSURANCE\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      10.1. Each rented vehicle is insured with third-party liability insurance. Only 125 cc scooters are insured against theft and 50 cc are not insured against theft. It will require in this case a total refund by the Tenant beyond the amount of the deposit.<\/p>\n

      10.2. VESPA LOCATION requires that all its tenants be sufficiently insured against various risks, accidents and illness and that this insurance is valid in France.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t10.3. When driving Vespa Rental motorcycles, renters must put on adequate and standard helmets. For the safety of the renter, Vespa Location strongly recommends putting on adequate clothing such as motorcycle jackets, pants, gloves, boots, etc. Vespa Location is not liable for damages resulting from the acts of the tenant which may cause injury, death or any other damage to the tenant, his property, his family, his heirs or transferees. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      11. CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE VEHICLE<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      11.1. All renters must be 20 years or older and have had a valid permit<\/b> in France for at least 24 months. The tenant must present his driving licence before the rental.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t11.2. Vespa Location vehicles must be driven exclusively by the signatories of the rental contract. The vehicle is not transferable and is only valid for the duration indicated on the rental agreement and the persons stipulated on the rental agreement. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
